HELLO!
Its good to be back in the Blogging world for the day. Things I miss since I work so much:
1. Blogging
2. Reading
3. Crafts
4. Missing the chance to go on a bike ride with the Millers (well...if it would even warm up)
5. Getting home before JD so I can make dinner
5. Getting home before JD so I can make dinner
JD and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary on April 25! We both worked but we went to dinner. He SURPRISED me by getting me an HTC WILDFIRE!!! I had been wanting a new phone sooooo bad so it was a huge surprise...totally speechless. I love it so much. I don't know how I ever lived without one.
Shoedazzle.com and JustFab.com are seriously my favorite websites each month! I bought the CUTEST shoes ever from them. Who wouldn't want amazing shoes and free shipping sent right to your door? You HAVE to look into it if you're an addict like me.
Anyways, what I really wanted to talk about is Body for Life...
Today is my 2nd day of the program. Its a 12 week program that teaches you how to lose weight, gain muscle, and eat right. Its surprisingly easy to follow and the results are amazing. Bill Phillips, the founder, teaches how to do short, yet efficient workouts. Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays consist of a 45 min weight training and Tuesday and Thursday are 20 cardios. Then the eating right part...I was afraid I couldn't do it because I'm so picky but the recipes sounds and look great. All are pretty easy to make. One thing I'm learning is PORTIONS. I used to load up my plate to the max but now I'm learning that portions are the key.
I'm really excited to do this because I eat like crap. I'm determined to get rid of my fat and have a great body. Its crazy how your mind will play tricks on you...its all mental. YOU CAN DO IT, I CAN DO IT!!
I'm planning on doing a Pro Bikini Competition in September. Thats the main reason I'm doing this. I think the one in September is just an ametuer competition but what have I got to lose except fat, right? I don't really know what I'm doing but I have support, books, and determination. I need something to do and what better to do than get healthy? This is my inspiration:
